Campbeltown Town Hall,
Detailed inspection of masonry fabric to identify defects, scope of remedial repairs and materials specifications.
Sampling, analysis and matching of external paint, stone, render and mortars.
Dell Farm Steading, Rothiemurchus
Survey of masonry fabric
and recommendations on the scope of work, appropriate repair specification including provision of budget costs for the proposed refurbishment of the steading complex.
Isle of Raasay
Detailed inspection of masonry fabric to identify sources and causes of water penetration, specification of work scope, remedial repairs and ongoing site supervision/ quality control visits.
Detailed survey and investigation to identify original render coatings and prepare a case for render reinstatement, to support a Listed Building Consent application.
Provision of specifications for repair and reinstatement of external lime harling and limewash, based on results of laboratory analysis of original and later harl coatings.
Survey and reporting on proposed damp-proofing work to traditionally constructed cottage (argued successfully against unnecessary damp-proofing works including proposed chemical DPC’s).
Battle of Bannockburn Monuments, Stirling
Technical and Conservation advice on the repair of two post-war monuments. Provision of ongoing advice, specifications, site supervision and quality control services in relation to cleaning, pointing and surface repairs to decorative concrete block.
Detailed survey of stone tablets and inscriptions.
Provision of quantified schedule of work and specifications for stone conservation and repair works including cleaning, consolidation and repointing.

Condition survey of mortar pointing to granite masonry.
Provision of advice and specifications for proposed repointing work as part of a major refurbishment.

George IV Bridge, Edinburgh
Inspection of masonry pointing condition and provision of specifications for reinstatement based on analysis of the original mortars.
St Drosdans Kirk,
Inspection and investigation of water ingress problems.
Provision of advice on remedial repairs including scope of work and specifications.
Lower Logie Church,
Survey of masonry fabric condition and prioritised repair recommendations including quantified work scope with mortar analysis/ matching and provision of detailed repair specifications.
David Livingstone Centre,
Detailed survey/ investigation of existing render coatings, incl; Infrared Thermography survey (in conjunction with CMC Ltd), render strip test panels, detailed materials analysis. Provision of technical conservation advice and detailed specifications for reinstatement of lime coatings
Specification of external lime concrete slab and parapet walkway repointing mortars. Ongoing technical and conservation advice and supervision.
Masonry inspection and provision of detailed repair specifications for patch repointing to the monument and full repointing of the boundary walls.
